The time has come for me to face facts.

I am addicted to mannequins!

Call me crazy but I LOVE them.

And why not? They're beautiful.

They don't make messes, I don't have to cook for them. They never talk back but they are great listeners. They are fun to 'dress up' but won't complain if they don't have a clean shirt to wear in the morning.

OK, I digress.

I've gotten a little carried away in my obsession and have decided to (okay, I was pressured into) thinning out my collection. You don't stay married for 26 years without making a few sacrifices. ::Humph::pout::

Anyway-my heartbreak is your opportunity.

Now, don't get me wrong-I am a fanatic not an expert.

I believe that this lady was made by PATINA V because of the arm and wrist connectors and the split pelvis.  Also because Patina made some Tyra mannequins. I am not 100% sure. I have mannequins by Grennaker, Wolf & Vine, Rootstein, Patina V & Decter but honestly cannot remember which are which except for the ones that are clearly stamped. So I am picturing all markings and fittings so that if maker is important to you you'll be able to determine that on your own.

Me, I buy mannequins I think are PRETTY or UNUSUAL and this gal is both.

She certainly has a flair for the DRAMATIC, n'est-ce pas?

She is also in wonderful condition with minimal surface mars and a few blemishes.  Her worst blemishes you can see in the pictures.  She has a few minor nicks here and there but don't we all.  No major damage. Her arms connect well and are sturdy.  They are not 100% flush though.  It is possible that they are not original but you can tell that they have been with her for a long time.  They look great!

This is a top quality mannequin. I believe she is from the 80's.

one of those cheapo new fiberglass lightweight mannis with the fat arms and the baby hands that you see all over ebay. UGH

I have lots of wigs, also and will include one of my choosing just so she doesn't have to be bald while you decide what kind of wig you want for her.

Her measurements are 32" bust, 24" waist and a bootaliscious 36 1/2" hips.  She's a petite little thing that if standing upright would be 5'7".  In her current pose she is 5'2" high

I will ship her via ground either by DHL or FedEx as I have discovered them to be cheaper than UPS ground She will be extremely well packaged and protected. I know the disappointment of buying a mannequin online only to receive a paper thin box containing a sad scarred and broken lady and I have no intention of letting this happen. I will be packaging this gal up this week so that I can get shipping quotes to those that ask but please keep in mind that I will not be making a profit on shipping but I am estimating US shipping to be apx $100, maybe less.  She is also available for pick up in Charlotte, NC.
